Mistresses Episode 2.05 Playing with Fire

Savi is covertly spending time with Zack. She fesses up to Joss that the two of them have become friends. Now all she has to do is come clean to Dom. The two new BFFs hit a concert together. The night doesn't end there. They hit a tattoo parlor. Savi now has ink on the back of her neck. The night finally does conclude with a hug and a fist bump.

Scott, the handsome plastic surgeon who gave Joss a puppy she's allergic to, gives her a huge check for the event she and Harry just worked for him. He also gives her a kiss out of nowhere. Joss then gives in to his request for a date. She ends up talking about how much Alex meant to her. This only confirms Scott's initial feeling that Joss has a lot of love in her heart.

Joss and Scott have sex, but it wasn't great. It seems Scott has a thing. He has a closet full of women's shoes. Fortunately, he doesn't wear them. He only loans them to women he sleeps with. He didn't want to scare off Joss with his freaky side. Fortunately, Joss doesn't really mind freaky all that much. Of course, she freaks a bit when she sees her sister's new tattoo.

Karen dresses up in her hottest outfit and dons a hairdo that typically isn't her to hit the bars. She's making up stories to a man who leaves her his hotel room key. She fesses up to April about how she's been meeting men by pretending to be someone else. She's yet to sleep with anyone. April is concerned that this won't end well. One of Karen's evenings actually doesn't begin well when she sees Daniel at the bar. He's not alone.

Karen tells April that she must have been mistaken about seeing Daniel. After all, he said he was going to Vermont to do work on his mother's house. Nevertheless, April can't help but check things out at his apartment. He's not home and he has a picture of the two of them on his desk. He had overheard April and Lucy confessing that they both loved him. This led to Daniel telling April that he loves her, too. Then why is he lying to her about being in Vermont when he's really sharing coffee with another woman?

Dom is told that someone has filed a complaint against him regarding his relationship with Savi. He's warned that if this continues to be an issue then one of them will be terminated. Dom lets Savi know that he's been taken off all her cases. She's surprisingly okay with this. She heads off to a lunch with her friends. It turns out to be an intervention about her relationship with Zack. As for Dom, he realizes that Toni is the one who set him up. They have a contentious chat where Dom learns just how driven Toni is.

Savi is ticked that Joss told their friends about Zack. Their conversation is not a pleasant one. Joss thinks Savi is playing with fire. Their chat ends abruptly when Zack shows up. Savi goes out with him. She drives. With Zack by her side, she overcomes her fear of driving on the freeway. In other news, Karen overcomes her reluctance of sleeping with the men she's been meeting in bars.
