Missing Episode 1.08 Answers

Things don't look good for Becca Winstone. She's on the run in a foreign country. The CIA believes she murdered Jamie Ortega before fleeing a substation interrogation room. The true killer is agency traitor Violet Heath. Becca escapes a confrontation with Violet on the streets of Vienna. She swipes her gun. The blonde assassin, who we now know as Maksim, holsters his weapon when he sees Becca take off on a bike.

Becca calls Giancarlo to arrange a meeting. He's the only one she can trust. Or can she? Giancarlo lets Dax know about the meeting. He's wearing a wire and equipped with a tracking device as he makes contact with Becca at the train station. They hop aboard a car. Then they board another, though it's not the one Martin believed she would take. Becca promises she didn't kill Ortega. Giancarlo believes her. He's always believed her. That's why he ditched his wire and placed the tracking device on a different train.

Information Becca overheard while she was captured leads her to believe Viktor Azimoff is setting up a deal at a local church. Giancarlo sees that he's inside. Becca chases a figure she sees sprinting through the cemetery out back. It's Paul. The two of them come to blows until Paul explains that he was working undercover against Azimoff. He's meeting with him now to exchange the valuable stocks for Michael. He's prepared to give up his life for their son. Paul then knocks out Becca so he can complete his mission.

When Becca come to, Giancarlo informs her that Azimoff doesn't have Michael anymore. That means Paul is about to give his life for nothing. Becca and Giancarlo storm the church. There's a shootout which includes new player Maksim. Everyone scatters. Dax and his team arrive at the scene about a half minute too late. Violet volunteers to check out the burial vaults below the church.

Inside the burial vaults, Giancarlo provides Paul with a gun as they search for Becca. Paul finds her first. He explains that Michael was kidnapped after the bad guys learned he was alive. Paul knew he and Becca were in danger after his cover was blown. The only way he could be sure she wouldn't come looking for him is by making her believe he was dead.

Michael manages to swipe a truck that belongs to some armed men searching the area for him. Oksana is in bad shape from a lack of insulin. She needs medical attention pronto. Michael finds a town with a hospital. He's in Hungary. When Dax is alerted to his presence there, Martin offers to bring him in. Michael is beyond relieved to see a friendly face. He's then distressed to learn the truth about his mom. She's in trouble. Someone is trying to set her up.

Azimoff, Becca, and Paul end up in a guns-drawn standoff in the burial vault. Maksim enters the area to shoot Azimoff dead. He's now killed both of his parents. Maksim explains that he would have never killed Becca. He was only trying to scare her off. Becca assures him that she doesn't scare easily. She also learns that Paul was being handled by Martin the entire time he was undercover. When Martin calls Azimoff's phone, Becca and Paul realize their mentor is, in fact, Suspect Zero. They are also horrified to learn that Martin has recaptured their son.
