Synopsis

England v Slovakia. Coverage from Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium of this crucial Euro 2004 qualifier. Boosted by their 2-0 win over Turkey in April, Sven-Goran Eriksson 's men know a win tonight will keep their bid for a place in next year's finals right on course. However, they will have to do without suspended skipper David Beckham , placing more pressure on the likes of Paul Scholes and Steven Gerrard to control the midfield and feed the strikers.
