The remaining six players are in downtown Los Angeles standing on the roof of a building. The judges - Chefs Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot - arrive by helicopter, but they notice only five players. Krissi, who is deathly afraid of heights, refuses to join them.

Fortunately for her, the challenge will take place downstairs in Wolfgang Puck's WP24 restaurant, which they will take over for the night. Natasha and Bri are the team captains and select the players they will work with. Natasha picks Jessie and Luca for the Red Team, while Bri gets James and Krissi for her Blue Team.

In the restaurant they see a demonstration of the four top-selling dishes, which they will be required to replicate. They will prepare two appetizers - steamed scallop shrimp shumai and crisp lettuce cups with tempura lobster - along with two entrées - Singapore-style chili prawns and stir-fried Wagyu beef with garlic.

The teams have 60 minutes to prep and two hours to serve 22 regular customers at the restaurant as Gordon expedites in the kitchen. Based on feedback from the diners and performance in the kitchen, the judges will choose the winning team. The losers will face a Pressure Test.

Natasha gives Jessie the lobster and Luca the shumai, while she handles all the plating. Bri will also take care of the final dishes and asks Krissi to prepare the lobster and James to make the shumai.

Once the restaurant opens for business, the Blue Team immediately starts sending out appetizers, but in Natasha's group, Luca struggles with the steaming of the shumai. Things go from bad to worse for them when a diner calls Joe over to show him her raw scallop appetizer. Natasha takes over on the shumai station, and the Red Team is back in the game.

Both groups move on the entrées, with the Red Team looking for redemption. Natasha has assigned Luca to the beef stir-fry and Jessie to the prawns, while she continues plating. Bri also will prepare her team's final dishes, and she puts James on beef and Krissi on the prawns.

Krissi struggles to remember what her plate is supposed to look like. She delivers cold, raw shrimp to the pass and gets scolded by Gordon. While the Blue Team flounders, their competitors find their groove, and dishes fly out of their kitchen.

On the Blue side, Krissi can't get it together on the prawn station, and her team falls further behind. Their diners are beginning to get angry over the wait and are walking out. Graham steps in to help Krissi, and her group begins to deliver dishes.

When service is over, the diners complete their comment cards. The judges look over the patrons' feedback and consider the performances in the kitchen to determine the winning team.

The next day in the MasterChef kitchen, the Red Team is declared victorious, so competitors Bri, Krissi and James on the other team will face the Pressure Test. Although Bri thinks she should be safe from elimination, all three players will take part in the challenge.

They each have 45 minutes to make a perfectly cooked plate of fried calamari with marinara sauce, including cleaning and prepping six squid. Krissi struggles with the dish, and the other contestants seem to be quite pleased.

When time is up, the players bring their dishes to the judges. Bri's calamari is over-floured and smells slightly burnt. Krissi's batter is too heavy, while James' dish is cooked perfectly but his sauce is underseasoned. In the end the judges ask Bri to turn in her apron and leave the MasterChef kitchen.
