Victory is finalizing her new line to show at her store during Fashion Week, but is nervous about what the critics will say. Wendy is having breakfast with her family while talking about a new script idea she plans on pitching to Sal at Parador Pictures.

Nico and Kirby run into Charles' ex-mistress Megan carrying her baby son, Charlie. Megan struggles to calm the child and Nico steps in to help for a moment by holding him. Later that day, Nico searches for a gift online to send Megan for baby Charlie. Wendy takes her script idea to Sal at the Parador offices. There, she pitches to Sal and Parador's new VP of development, a young woman named Paige.

Joe pays Victory a visit at the store to go over the budget for her opening and fashion show. It seems Victory exceeded the budget six invoices ago. She had no idea that Dahlia was spending so much money without telling her. Back at Parador, Wendy's pitch meeting with the new development executive didn't go as planned. Wendy and Sal share an awkward goodbye at the elevators.

Joe proposes a story to Nico for the next Bonfire issue. Nico calls him out and asks him to come clean; she wants to know what he really wants from her since it's clearly not a story. After Nico tells Joe to take a risk on Victory, he asks her if she knows Victory's ring size. Meanwhile, Victory is busy firing Dahlia.

Victory is realizing that getting rid of Dahlia might not have been the smartest move. Dahlia seems to have scaled back her original orders just before the opening, putting Victory in somewhat of a bad situation. Joe takes Ellen to pick out an engagement ring for Victory, who is now in crisis mode and has called Rodrigo to help with the store opening. Nico fills Wendy in on her conversation with Joe, excited about a potential reconciliation.

Dahlia continues to strike. She has ruined Victory's press kits, taken her waitstaff, her models and even her guest. Nico and Wendy step in to help find people to fill the seats and reprint the press kits. Kirby was asked to work Victory's party as a waiter, but Nico would prefer he didn't, considering her friends and colleagues will be attending.

Nico and Wendy are talking about Victory's party when the conversation turns to baby Charlie. Back at Victory's, Rodrigo reassures her that the show and store opening will be okay, just as Roy discovers that a leaky pipe has ruined her finale dress. Wendy visits the printers to have Victory's press kits redone, and the woman working there asks her to read a script. Wendy obliges, just to get the order done in time.

Nico pays a visit to Megan's apartment to drop off the baby gift she got for Charlie. She also gives Megan a box of Charles' items to share with baby Charlie one day, so he can get to know his father.

At Victory's opening, guests arrive and are seated next to the runway. Rodrigo arrives with flowers in hand, but he's unnoticed by Victory. Joe sits in the front row where Wendy calls him on the ring box in his pocket. Victory puts the finishing touches on her models while trying to decide what to do about the finale dress.

In a surprise ending, Victory puts on the white wedding dress and walks the runway herself. In her "thank you" speech she gives a big thank you to Rodrigo, while Joe sits stunned in the audience. After Victory and Rodrigo share an electric kiss on stage, Wendy looks over to find Joe, but he has already left. After everyone is gone, Victory celebrates with her friends and a bottle of champagne.

Wendy and Nico leave the party discussing what to do about Joe and whether to tell Victory his plans. Nico tells Wendy that she went to visit Megan and baby Charlie and that it stirred some feelings about having a baby herself. Victory thanks Rodrigo for the flowers and all his help with the event. Despite their connection, they say goodbye.

Kirby comes over to Nico's after working. She apologizes for the way she reacted to him working at the party. Then, he drops the bomb that his mother is coming to town next week and he can't wait for the two of them to meet. Wendy reads the script from the girl at the copy shop and is shocked by how good it is. Wendy tells Shane that she has decided to start her own production company and will find the financing to make the script into a movie.
