Mike is bummed because Eve seems to have outgrown Halloween. It's a crushing blow, but at least he can still take Boyd out trick-or-treating, right? Wrong. Kristin doesn't feel her son is ready for all that pagan death imagery like zombies and ghosts. Do skeletons apply? Because that's the costume Mike bought for his grandson.

Mandy asks her dad to pick up the sexy cat outfit she intends to wear to a Halloween party. That particular kitty costume was a little too revealing, so Mike brought home the next best thing in feline-wear: a giant Garfield! Needless to say, Mandy is extremely disappointed. Perhaps she's more of a Heathcliff girl.

Vanessa is tired of dressing up in goody-goody Halloween costumes, so this year she's going out as a sexy pirate princess. Mike likes her outfit. He just wishes her treasures were a little more buried. Vanessa's costume is a hit with her neighbor Bill, who keeps coming back for more Halloween eye candy. The family is gonna have to get their spare key back from this guy.

Mike, dressed in a full Green Beret costume, defies his daughter's wishes by taking Boyd out for some treats. They visit Ed, who is handing out candy while entertaining a lady friend who looks a lot like Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. That's probably because it is Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Ed only travels first class during the holidays.

Eve fesses up that the real reason she didn't dress up this year is because of Victor Blake. He thinks Halloween is for kids and Eve wants him to look at her as a woman. Speaking of looking like a woman, Mandy made a few modifications to her Garfield costume. She used his ears to make a sexy top after ditching the big cat head in a dumpster. As for Eve, Victor shows up in a costume to invite her over to his house to hand out candy.

Vanessa is furious when she learns her hubby took Boyd out for Halloween. Her irritation turns to panic when Mike pulls off his grandson's mask reveal another family's child. This kid belongs to the Wong family down the block. Mr. Wong isn't very forgiving until he catches sight of Mike's pirate princess wife. Mike apologizes to Kristin, who forgives her dad as long as he joins them for one more round of trick-or-treats. Happy Halloween!
