Additional Cast

Hank, the propane aficionado, is disappointed to learn that only charcoal grillers can enter the Texas State Grill-Off. Hank's outrage about the biased BBQ competition is ignored by many, but Luanne steps up to help Hank with his protest against charcoal grilling. Luanne becomes the coordinator of the grilling protest and gathers her friends to come out to the fair to assist with the operation.

Meanwhile Peggy is busy being a "looky-loo" and devises a scheme to enter the Schuyler death mansion in order to see the famed laundry room where a murder took place. Although she has to apply for a phony home loan in order to enter the vacant home, her plan is a success in the end. Bobby is happy that Luanne has taken over as Hank's grilling partner so he can have some real fun at the fair riding the roller coasters and stuffing himself with cotton candy.

At the fair, Luanne gets carried away with her protest against the evil charcoal grillers. Hank is incensed with her extreme actions and throws her off his team. Angry for being treated like a child, Luanne climbs into Big Tex, the fair mascot, to make her plea for propane heard amongst the crowd, regardless of how Hank feels. Although it takes some coercion to bring her down, Luanne finally agrees to retreat from her power when Hank agrees to treat her more like an adult. When she climbs out, she makes up with Hank and both narrowly escape a trip to the slammer.
