While Luanne and Peggy are hanging out at the Hill home, Hank calls from work to remind Peggy that they are going dancing that night. Luanne is crushed that Peggy is leaving her and confides in Peggy that she doesn't have many friends at college. Peggy encourages her to take advantage of college life because she regrets not doing so. Heeding the advice, Luanne decides to participate in sorority rush week. Luanne visits the Omega house, where she is warmly received. As it turns out, the Omega house is a cult, but Luanne is too dumb to catch on. The Omega girls prey on her insecurities and make her eat only rice because hunger is used as a way to program her.
When the girls take Luanne away to a commune, Hank begins to worry, although he initially disbelieves Dale's theory that the Omega house is a cult. Peggy tells Hank not to worry, that she will spend the night at the Omega house to make sure Luanne is okay. But Peggy also succumbs to the cult's powers. Hank tries to get Peggy and Luanne out but is turned away from the house. He finally saves the day by luring out the cult members by barbecuing in front.
Meanwhile, Buck orders Hank to destroy his emu cattle, but Hank doesn't have the heart to do it. Hank tries to deceive him by buying meat from the store and passing it off as emu.
