To get credit for a school project that will help her get into private high school, Connie shadows Peggy at the newspaper. After trying to impress Connie by turning a puff piece on Chris Sizemore, a realtor and large ad contributor, into an ambush piece, Peggy gets fired. However, Sizemore hires her because he likes her moxie. As Peggy tries to find her place in the realtor world, she gets stuck doing all the grunt work to improve an open house like baking dozens of cookies, cleaning up dog do and spray painting the lawn green in brown spots. Unfortunately for Connie, she is still Peggy's . Trying to prove herself, Peggy does an interview with Nancy on TV however it backfires when Sizemore sees it and doesn't like it. Not wanting to give up her dream, Peggy goes out on her own and has a successful open house with Connie. Sizemore realizes she is a stiff competitor and he needs her on his team so he invites her to join forces. Meanwhile, Hank plays the best golf of his life with a new set of clubs given to him by the guys but when he learns they were potentially used as a murder weapon and nobody will use them but him, he goes to prison to find out if the clubs were really used in the murder.
