Hank is excited when he finds out The Bystander is hiring local kids to deliver the papers so now Bobby can learn to throw without being scared by a ball. Bobby on the other hand, is less excited about this opportunity seeing that he's not exactly a morning person, but he doesn't want to disappoint Hank either. So, Bobby makes a deal with Dale who agrees to deliver his papers while Bobby sleeps in the back of his truck. Dale desperately wants to be a paper deliverer but is too old to actually get hired, so his partnership with Bobby seems like the perfect plan...well, until Hank finds out. Peggy is also, making her mark with The Bystander when she is hired to write a helpful hints column, but there's only one problem; she doesn't have any helpful hints to give out. Like Bobby, she forms a partnership with Minh who has access to helpful hints to write about, and in return, Peggy slips her the answers to the NY Times crossword puzzles a day early. Now Minh is assured to be the winner of the crossword competitions against Kahn and Peggy is Arlen's newest Bystander celebrity. However, when Minh runs out of hints, Peggy is forced to come up with one on her own. Unfortunately her helpful hint is actually a lethal concoction that threatens the citizens of Arlen so Hank, Peggy and Bobby must rush to stop the presses before the papers are read.
