Synopsis

When a funeral prevents the gang from watching the Super Bowl live, Ted makes everyone vow to wait till Monday night to watch it on Tivo. All try heroically to go a whole day without finding out who won, but the feat turns out to be impossible. Ted fears that their last Superbowl as a group (before Marshall and Lily get married and move out, and things start to change for all of them) has been ruined. In the end, Marshall points out that sometimes life is about enjoying the ride-even if you know how it's gonna end.
