The final 3 chefs remain. Chef Ramsay informs them that they are about to see some familiar faces. In walk their families! Andrea admits that she has really come to realize how important family is now that she has been without them during the competition. Paula tells her sister that participating in Hell's Kitchen is the toughest thing she has ever done. And Danny receives words that every son longs to hear, that his father is proud of him. Once the reunions are over, Chef sends the final 3 upstairs to get ready for their next big day.

Bright and early, Chef calls the aspiring chefs downstairs for their challenge. He informs them that they are to prepare 100 portions of an upscale lunch dish within 90 minutes for a group of mystery guests. As they get to work, Danny and Paula feel cool under the pressure, while Andrea struggles to get organized, and runs the risk of not completing all of her portions in the allotted time. Luckily, she puts the finishing touches on her plates as the mystery guests arrive: 100 of Los Angeles' more renowned Chefs.

While the Chefs taste all 3 of the dishes, they seem to agree that Paula's and Andrea's dishes are quite good, while Danny's is not even in the same league. When the results are announced, Paula is the clear winner... and Danny is the clear loser. 76% of the chefs found Danny's dish the worst.

While licking his wounds, Danny realizes that he has to find a way to pick himself back up. This is not the time for him to rollover, he has come too far to let Chef Ramsay think he is in over his head. And, as Danny and Andrea get to work cleaning the dining room after the 100 Chef lunch, and iron each of the table linens, Paula heads out for the first part of her two-part reward: a Hollywood make-over.

The following morning, Paula meets Chef Ramsay downstairs in the limo for the second part of her reward, while Danny and Andrea find there is a second part to their punishment: cleaning Hell's Kitchen's Grand Hall. As the losers start wiping down the hallway's television screens, the Fox morning show, "Good Day, LA" pops on, and guess who are the mystery guests... Chef Ramsay and Paula.

With all 3 finalists back in Hell's Kitchen, they prepare for the biggest dinner service of their lives. Before he opens the doors, Chef Ramsay informs them they will each take turns stepping into his shoes, running the pass. Chef also employs the help of Sous Chefs Scott and Gloria as well as Jean-Phillippe to help him test the aspiring chefs.

Once the doors open, the aspiring chefs spring to action, and Paula is the first called to lead the kitchen. After a shaky start, Paula finds her feet and is very successful getting appetizers to the dining room. Danny is next up, and is slow to get going, he misses a few of Chef's key tests, but shows he has some skill. Andrea is the last of the final three to take a stab at running the kitchen. And, after missing a vital quality control test, she decides not to miss anything else, and sends all of the food back to the chefs, including Chef Scott, who was none too happy to answer to Andrea.

However, despite the aspiring chefs struggling a bit at the pass, the food was flying out of the kitchen, and Chef Ramsay was all smiles and singing their praises. He asks each of of the final three to pick the one person whom they do not think should make the final two. After Andrea and Danny argue to each other as to why they should stay of the other, they stand before Chef, on the spot to make their nominations. Andrea nominates Danny. Danny nominates Andrea. Paula, having to make a very difficult decision, decides Danny should stay over Andrea. Chef Ramsay asks both Danny and Andrea for their final pleas, and decides that Andrea's time at Hell's Kitchen is up, and she is not moving into the final 2.

Danny and Paula are relieved and ecstatic, but Chef warns them, that if they've thought their journey this far has been rough, they haven't seen anything!
