It's Thanksgiving Weekend eve at CRU. Casey's all packed to go home when Rusty tells her their folks blew them off to go to Maui. They're stuck on campus. Cappie's parents don't believe in the holiday. Evan's avoiding his family. And Dale's staying to work on his science grant. While he's in town, he and Rusty are making a giant Kettlewell-style feast, deep-fried turkey and all.

Dale invites Casey to helo too. She's surprised Rusty didn't apply for the same grant Dale's after, but he says his ecopolymers project isn't going well. Later, at the KT house, the pool table sparks an inspiration, and he races off to talk to Hastings, his adviser. The prof thinks Rusty's self-healing material might work... might even be grant-worthy. Rusty says his friend is already going for that grant, and Hastings warns, "There are no friends in the lab."

Sure enough, Dale's not happy. He says, "My grant?" And it's on. Still smiling ... but on. In fact, Dale goes to the lab with Rusty. When he sticks his nose in, Hastings gets pissed. He reminds Rusty there are "no friends in the lab," tells him to Dale NOTHING, and leaves. Just then, Dale's project goes up in flames. Literally. Have his grant dreams gone with it?

Back at home, Dale's super-touchy, then flips out and cancels dinner. Which is rough. because Rusty's already invited everyone over. So he makes calls and goes to the lab, where he finds a tired Hastings hiding out from his own family dinner. He tells Rusty how, years ago, his "friend" stole their shared project and all the fame and fortune it brought.

Rusty heads into the darkened lab, only to come across Dale -- reading Rusty's notes! Dale tries to make it better by saying it's a compliment.

Rusty's "competition"! Not the "Anchor"! Rusty's furious that his "best friend" ever thought so little of him.

Wednesday afternoon in the Amphora lair, Cappie and Evan are sorting food donations and making plans to golf on T-Day. Cap's even going to skip the traditional KT "Turkey Hunt" with the other campus-bound bros -- Beaver, Wade, and Heath.

Next day, he's waiting for Evan when he hears the bros struggling with the first Turkey Hunt clue. He has to help! Just then, Evan texts that he'll be late. Sweet! One of the clues sends them to the Omega Chi library. Cappie finds the next clue right away, but then he has to stop the guys from pranking Evan's room. They want to know what's wrong with him. He's not himself! The subject of Casey comes up, and even Wade calls him on his bad decisions.

Speaking of Casey, it's Wednesday night, and she has the whole ZBZ house to herself. So she's rocking out with a hairbrush mike in her room -- when Rebecca walks in. Total shame. Bex's flight was canceled. So now it's just the two of them, all alone in the house. Cozy!.

That night, random noises freak out Bex so much, she decides to sleep in Casey's room. Uh... OK. Casey's not thrilled, but it beats being scared all alone. Kinda. Next morning, Casey's planning to volunteer with a food-delivery charity to boost her karma. Rebecca invites herself along. Uh... OK.

But everyone volunteers on Thanksgiving, so they're not needed. Casey's still in the dumps. Bex gets ger to open up and, just as she's asking about Cappie and Evan, Evan shows up. Flusterville! Casey invites him to Rusty's for dinner, and then Rebecca invites herself. Could it get any weirer?

Yes. When Rusty tells her dinner's off, Casey invites ALL the delivery volunteers to the empty ZBZ house for... microwave pizza? Whil they're serving, Evan mentions that Cappie flaked on golf... and also, BTW, split up with Lana. Casey's all: Oh, really?

Evan steps away, and Rebecca's all over Casey, asking if he said anything about her. Then someone turns up wearing one of Ashleigh's shirts, so Bex chases him and Evan declares the party over. He's alone with Casey. The house is empty. She says the wrong thing, and Evan makes a move. But she stops him, and it's reallllly awkward. Saved by the Bex! She comes back in. and then Rusty texts an invite to the KT house.

Up on the KT roof, Cappie finds Rusty steaming about Dale. Cappie mentions Casey, and suddenly they're talking about how friends don't always have your best interests at heart. Rusty starts geeking out about is project, but it's a perfect metaphor for Cappie and Casey's relationship. Their chat solidifies Cap's resolves, and Rusty's too.

They go downstairs, where the bros aren't letting Evan in. Until they see all the bottles he's brought. OK, come on in. But the KT turkey turns out to be just another bottle, and KT dinner is just popcorn and Candy outside on the picnic table. After Casey wins the "wish-pretzel" with Rusty, she gets up, and Cappie offers to walk her home.

When they get there, the moment we've been waiting for all year happens. He's incredibly awkward, and so's she, and they keep getting lost in each others' eyes. But finally says what he's been thinking. "I want to be with you."

And she agrees. And they kiss. And it's beautiful . Finally!
