It's Dry Weekend on The Row. Yes, the Greeks at CRU take one weekend a year tp party sober and show the rest of the world they aren't complete lushes. And guess who's been tapped to run it all? Oh, Casy. Did you have to rub Panhellenic Prez Katherine the wrong way again?

Casey not only has to plan the festivities, she also has to help patrol the houses to make sure no drinking goes on. The cherry on her sober sundae? Her patrol partner is Evan. She tries to get assigned to someone else, but Katherine lays into her for not being mature enough to patrol with an ex. Then she dangles an empty seat on the P-H board as bait. Casey swallows her pride and just goes for it.

On patrol, things are pretty awkward, until they get to Psi Phi Pi, the geek-Greek house, where the two accidentally eat some brownies that aren't your ordinary brownies. Stoned an completely unable to hide it, Casey and Evan manage to make it back to the ZBZ house, where they raid the snacks and hide out in the shower room until the weed wears off.

Sitting on the floor of a shower stall, they finally talk about their rocky history, and Evan gives her a long-overdue apology. They come out of hiding just in time to run into Katherine. Oops. She's been looking for them and is pretty mad ... and when she realizes they must be stoned, she's not happy AT ALL. But then the whole story comes out, and she runs off to slap down the geeks.

Rusty's still in the academic doghouse. His fellow science majors have taken to calling him "Anchor," since he grades are still bringing down the departement curve. So he decides to start an out-of-class research project to help his rep. The snag in his plan? He needs a professor to sponsor him. He asks his O-chem teacher, Professor Hastings, for help, but that door is shut. Tight. So with Cappie's help, Rusty crashes a book-signing party for the department celebrity, Professor Larsen.

There's some funny wingman stuff, where Rusty tries to help Cappie meet a hot science girl and Cap tries to help Rusty win over Larsen. But none of that goes too well, especially when Rusty finds out that Dale's already gotten Larsen to sponsor HIS project. Later, a depressed, worn-out Rusty happens to say just the right things to Hastings, who comes around and agrees to help. He thinks Rusty's on to something with his research in eco-polymers (something about making it easier and cheaper to use recycled chemicals). Rusty's happy to have Hasting's backing and promises he won't let the prof down.

It's Grant's birthday, and Calvin got him the perfect present - and he wrapped it so sweetly. Grant's got a present for Calvin too -- his girlfriend, Whitney. Uh-oh! He's still in the closet, so it's hard to tell the folks back home - and even his GF - he's gay. Calvin does his best to respect his boyfriend's wishes.

Whitney insists they double-date to celebrate Grant's birthday at Dobler's Calvin takes Rebecca (who wants his help getting Ashleigh to forgive her), and it's as hilarious as it sounds. Things get a leetle awkward when Whitney insists that Grant open Calvin's present. But Calvin knows the gift will let the cat out of the bag. Finally, Grant says enough, and he tells Whitney he's gay. He also tells Calvin how awesome he is for being so patient with him. The present? A framed photo of Calvin and Grant looking totally adorable.

Ashleigh's still not done torturing Fisher over Kissing-gate. She's also torturing herself. she wants to believe when he says he's sorry and won't ever do it again, but her relationship rule of "no second chances" is keeping her from letting him back in. Fisher's groveling gets to be too much, even for him, and he asks if she wants him to quit working at the house. She's not sure, but he makes the decision for her and leaves.

Ash talks to Casey and admits that she thinks she might be wrong about not forgiving Fisher. Casey says deciding to forgive someone can be a sign of strength. The next day, when Fisher comes by to pick up his last check, Ashleigh rehires him. She also gives him a second chance with her. Her promises she won't regret either decision. She leaves him with a wary, "I hope not." Us too, Ash. Us too.
