Main Cast

It's homecoming week! The CRU campus is alive with school spirit, and the Greeks are all aflutter with the annual homecoming float contest. Well, every house but ZBZ. In her new role on the Panhellenic Council, devious Frannie has paired the Ickies with the Omegas and the ZBZ's with the KTs. Float-making really isn't the Kappas' bag. Cappie wants to just skip the whole thing, but Rusty convinces everyone they need the $2,000 float prize money to rebuild Vesuvius, the legendary (and sadly deceased) beer volcano.

Ashleigh puts Casey on float duty to keep her busy until Max comes back in a week. She's too mopey! Casey's really not into being this close to the KTs right now: She and Cappie are trying to keep their distance as per their agreement, but she caves and takes the task. Her float theme? Garden of Eden.

Cappie makes Rusty the KT float chair and, with Health's help, Rusty and Casey manage to rig up a pretty amazing float. Now if they can just get it to the stadium! The sneaky, deep-pocketed Omega-Icky team rented the last flatbed truck in town.

Rusty manages to find a trailer to carry the float and leaves Casey with a pickup truck to tow it to the stadium. But, with minutes till the judging deadline, the truck breaks down on a deserted road. She calls Rusty, but he's left his cell phone somewhere. Does she call AAA? Nope. She dials Cappie.

He's not happy that she's broken their distance agreement. When he gets there, Cappie asks why she didn't just call the auto club, and she can't really answer. Cue the yelling in each other's faces that looks a lot more like foreplay than fighting. The tow-truck guy arrives and interrupts, but if they'd had one second more ... .

While Cappie and Casey have been carrying on, the KTs have been busy re-engineering the OX-IKI float. Well, more like booby-trapping it to malfunction in a highly suggestive way and then spew gallons of beer onto the crowd. In the end, neither float wins. (That'a OK Frannie got soaked with beer.) After the game and the party are over, Ashleigh gets back to the house and finds Casey curled up in bed. She tells Ash she didn't realize how much she missed him. Ashleigh reminds her Max will be back in a week. Casey says she's not talking about Max. She means Cappie. Whoa!

Ashleigh's having a very awesome week. She loves homecoming, and she loves Fisher. But she's worried that he's not really into the school-spirit thing. He tells her it's kind of hard to be when he has to work so much to pay for school. Ash tries to get him involved with the festivities, but he bows out.

Turns out Fisher's got a secret! He's one of the super-crazy, body-paint-wearing CRU cheersleaders, people who run wild all over campus generally stirring up... school spirit. He asks her to join him as his "crupie" and, after hestitating, she jumps in. Ashleigh looks great in blue. She looks even better in love, though.

Evan's folks are in town for homecoming. They're excited to catch up with him... and they want to see how he's doing with his trust fund megabucks. Evan buys their laid-back attitude at first, but it's short-lived. They're not happy that he lent his ne'er-do-well brother $50K. Then, over an after-dinner drink with dad, he confides his concern that people only like him for his money.

The next day, Evan's folks tell him he's not on a six-month probation and has to see a therapist they worried he's not ready for the responsibility of his trust fund. Evan feels betrayed, and he tells them where they can put their checkbook. He doesn't need their money or their rules! (Uh, but can he keep the car?) Welcome to the real world, Evan Chambers.
