It's midterms time at CRU. Rusty, Dale, and Calvin decide to have a marathon art history study session. Jordan wants in, and they agree, but reluctantly. Rusty's not OK with that, even when he says, "I'm OK with that."

Thanks to the miracle of the cell phone, Andy finds out Jordan's with Rusty and breaks up with her in the middle of the session. Rusty tries not to do a little victory dance as the guys send him to talk to her before they get completely off the study track. He distracts her by rigging up some projectors to re-create the Sistine Chapel on their ceiling. It's totally romantic. Even Dale's impressed. But then Andy calls again! This time he wants to apologize, Rats. Rusty takes Jordan home, and there on her doorstep, he tells her why they can't be friends anymore: He's fallen for her, and he just won'y take anything less. Go get 'em, Tiger! (He finally found the right moment.)

The next day, just as the exam's about to start, Jordan asks Dale and Calvin to pass Rusty a note for her. Uh-oh -- the professor catches this action and thinks they're all cheating! So Jordan begs him to just read the note and see what it's about. He reads it out loud, in front of the entire class. It's a heartfelt message saying she wants to go steady. Which would be totally embarrassing if it wasn't so totally sweet! Check yes or no. Rusty checks yes. The class goes wild.

Rebecca's got a midterm paper due. Small problem: It's on her laptop, which is in her car, which has been stolen... or maybe just towed. Whatevs -- she really needs that laptop so she can finish that paper. Evan offers to drive her to the impound lot to get the car back. The doors to the lot are open, but no one's home, and there's a guard dog. A very active guard dog. Slapstick shenanigans ensue. (Good thing these two aren't in charge of something important, like world peace.)

Oh, and um, remember the history between Evan and Rebecca? It's been a while since they hooked up during her first Rush Week, as famously documented on a cell-cam. But when you spend a whole night together in a car, these things come back to you. Anyway, Rebecca's busy -- finishing her paper. Besides, she says men and women can't be friends because of the whole sex issue. Evan agress, but he's glad they aren't enemies anymore, either.

Cappie and Casey need to cram for their woman's studies test. Casey agress to a study date, but then she list about 300 things they can't do while studying. They try to avoid being alone by joining a group study session, but that ends badly -- and abruptly -- when the other girls realize Cappie's tapped them all.

So they try the library next, but they get kicked out for being too loud. In the middle of the night, they end up in the KT common room. When Cappie suggests they go upstairs to his room, Casey puts her footm down. She suspects Cappie's whoring around and not committing to anyone because he's still waiting fro her. Busted, Cappie.

They both realize that being friends isn't a good idea. Their parting is sad, but honest. Csey tells Ashleigh the next day that the Cappie chapter in her life is over. Hmmm. Don't close that file just yet, Casey.
