Casey's still in DC at her desk job when Max swoops in to take her back to CRU. Suprise! He rurned down Caltech to stay at Cyprus-Rhodes for grad school -- just to be with Casey. But that's not what he's telling her. She thinks he lost the Cal grant to someone else. Wonder what she'll have to say when she tears the truth.

When they pull up at the ZBZ house, Casey's not even out of the car before Ashleigh's all over her. They have RUSH PLANNING to do! But Casey's made some plans of her own. The big summer internship didn't go so well. The other interns were all miles ahead of her academically and called her "Elle Woods." Ouch. She's decided to buckle down this year, and step one is to move out of the house and into an apartment. OK, that works for about three seconds. Ashleigh and Cappie (who's not too happy to hear Max is still around, BTW) talk some sense into her, so before Rush Week even starts, Casey's back in the house with a plan that includes both work and play.

Rusty's got his own ambitious housing plans. He's convinced he can have the whole Kappa experience and live in the house while remaining an honors student. That goes about as well as you'd expect. After he painstakingly soundproofs his single room into a fortress of solitude. Cappie busts in and turns it into a quad. Poor Rusty. But Cappie's got a new single for him! Yay! Uh, it's the garden shed! Er, yuck.

Dale's having problems of his own with his new roomie, who's Canadian and therefore evil, according to Dale's logic. Casey sweeps in to save the day by offering up her newly apartment. Dale gets a double bonus: Rusty moves in as his roomie, and there may be some cougar action from the new.

Frannie's new sorority, lota Kappa lota -- or "icky" as Ash and Casey quickly rename it -- is dirty rushing, with funding help from Evan. The ZBZ girls are out to bring them down, but, because the icky girls aren't in the Pan-Hellenic Council yet, they don't have to follow its rules. That's OK. ZBZ Prez Asleigh has a secret weapon -- Rebecca! That's right, she is totally for ZBZ, pretending to have defected to IKI.

All hell breaks loose at the IKI secret pre-push event when Ashleigh, Casey, and the Kappas crash and pretty much burn the party. The Omega Chi dudes were supposed to lure the freshman girls, but the Kappas show up instead to entertain the new ladies. (They made sure the Omegas' bus got lost.) As soon as Evan and his crew do arrive, the kappas steal the OX bus along with freshman football star Andy. The OXs want him bad, but Rusty thinks he belongs with the Kappa Taus. Andy seems to agree; he's way more into the KTs, even though he was Calvin's best bud in high school.

Rush hasn't even started, and things are crazy! It's definitely gonna be a wild one this year.
