In this week's episode, "Pledge Allegiance," Casey and Max finally go on a real date. It looks bad for the new couple when Casey awkwardly tries to be someone she's not (someone who's not interested in ZBZ or life's little annoyances, like Frannie snaking her parking spot). She realizes that her thing with Max is doomed if she stays on that path, and she learns that Max wants her for who she is not for who she thinks she should be. They agree to try to make their relationship work with honesty.

Rusty and the pledges get fed up with being hazed and stage a coup by locking the actives out of the Kappa Tau house. Cappie and the KTs strike back with a full-on assault waging psychological warfare and eventually defeating the pledges. Cappie turns the entire coup around on the pledges and tricks them into believing it was all Cappie's idea to begin with: The actives purposely pushed the pledges to revolt! He admits to a brother that he lied so the pledges won't get too uppity.

Evan tries to bribe Michael into changing an Omega Chi's grades in a class Michael's TA-ing. See, Michael's having a hard time getting interviews for a professorship, and Evan's mom can pull strings at Princeton ... so how about a little tit for tat on the grade inflation? But Michael shuts him down, saying he doesn't alter grades, sorry! Trouble is, Evan goes behind Michael's back and arranges the interview with Princeton anyway.

Frannie's back to her old ways. She rallies the pledges to gack the role of Pledge Educator from Casey. As if that's not bad enough, Frannie plans a ZBZ lock-in and doesn't even tell Casey! The rivals compete for the pledges' affections, and Rebecca (pledge Queen Bee) declares herself neutral and willing to be swayed either way. A game of I Never among everyone in the ZBZ house gets messy when Frannie and Casey air all their personal damage to the group. Casey and Frannie almost come to blows before Casey throws a drink in Frannie's face!
