So far this school year, no one's in the zone. Well, okay, maybe Cappie and Rebecca. Casey, the former "it" girl, has been dumped by Evan and trumped by her "little sister" Rebecca. Out of respect for Casey's feelings. Cappie's been meeting Rebecca on the sly, but the more time they spend together, the more he wants to date her, he just needs to break it to Casey. Which does not go well.

She's been saying she and Cappie are just friends, but when Casey hears he's with Rebecca, that green-eyed monster goes on a rampage. First, she tries to make hi jealous by hooking up with a boy. A real boy. He's hot, but he's too young to vote. Or join the army. Or go to college. Oops.

Next, she tries to level with Cappie, telling him just how horrible Rebecca is.

But he's not buying. He's the very essence of loyalty. And not just to Rebecca. There's another Cartwright twisting in the wind Rusty. Seems that while Rusty was busy pining away for Jen Z, his fellow pledges were busy bonding. Rusty's on the outs with them, but tight with Cappie -- and that makes him about as popular as a teacher's pet.

If they're ever going to get back in the zone, Casey and Rusty both have to get their acts together and make amends. One does. One doesn't. Sending one sibling riding into the sunset and the other ... well, on the highway to discomfort.
