The Story

A haunted email chain is being sent around Rockland U's campus. Melinda gets involved when Ned's girlfriend, Brianna, is sent the email by her friend, Gwen, AFTER she was killed in a car accident. Melinda had a vision of a man and woman coming toward her wanting to sew her eyes shut. Ned disovers that Puritants used to believe that stitching out the eyes was punishment for spreading gossip. The Xed out eyes coincides with the "author" of the email chain, Sally Stitch, who threatens to hurt the recipient or someone they love if the email isn't forwarded. Brianna finds her doll hanging by a noose in her closet and her mirror shatters after she doesn't forward it. She thinks Gwen is behind all of it. Melinda confronts Gwen's ghost and finds that Gwen thinks she caused the accident that killed her and put her mother in a coma because she didn't forward the email. In reality, her mother suffered a seizure while they were driving, do to a brain tumor. The mother and daughter are reunited after the mother passes from her coma. Finally, Melinda and Eli track the originator of the email to a girl actually living in the hospital, suffering from leukemia. She's being influenced by the real Sally Stitch, or Scarlet Breslin who we will hear more about in later episodes.
