Flashpoint Episode 2.04 Aisle 13

The SRU team is called in when two teenage boys, Donnie and Adam, attempt to rob a local food store. They are best friends who are desperate not to be separated after Adam finds out that his family is moving away because their business is failing; Donnie believes if they can get the money to help the family business, then Adam's family will remain in town. Unfortunately, their escape plan goes awry and they take several hostages, barricading themselves in the store. Parker and the team try to piece together why these young boys would do this and comes to find that Adam is a reluctant hostage-taker and wants this stand-off to end just as much as the hostages do. When Parker can't seem to get through to Donnie, he enlists Adam's help to try and end the stand-off without anyone getting killed; particularly Donnie who, with each passing minute, is rapidly becoming more aggressive and paranoid. This puts the team in the difficult position of possibly having to take out a sixteen year old boy.
