The "Extreme team" is on the road again-this time heading to Lancaster, Texas to help the Marshall Family. And, this week, Ty and the gang call on country superstar Trace Adkins to get on the bus with them. Trace is the perfect person to help due to his background in construction, his hard-working attitude, and last but not least, his physical stature. The only challenge Trace can't seem to overcome is the language barrier with Ed-something many of us have (yet we love Ed nonetheless).

The lives of the Marshall family changed in one catastrophic day when Carlton Marshall went on a routine search warrant with the Dallas SWAT team. While on duty protecting the Dallas community, Carlton was shot in the neck, leaving him confined to a wheelchair. He's been through a lot and is still adjusting to his new life, but his house prevents him from doing many day-to-day activities. He feels helpless and trapped. Most of all, we see how much he wants his wife, Susan, to have a break from all her responsibilities in caring for him. We'll let the Extreme team solve these problems for the Marshalls; we know they're up to the challenge.

Call 911-this house needs to be torn down! Ty and the gang enlist the Dallas SWAT team to help out-and we are in awe as they use all their tools for the demolition. Was that a chopper that just flew over our heads? These guys mean business!

The Marshalls go to the Happiest Place on Earth for their vacation. There's a surprise in store for them when they visit past EM:HE recipient Kristina Ripatti. Similar to Carlton, Kristina was shot in the line of duty and is now confined to a wheelchair. Kristina gives advice to Carlton on how to carry on and live a normal life. More importantly, Kristina shows Carlton how to play with his kids-something he hasn't been able to do since the accident. After a nice vacation away from their house, the Marshalls are ready to see what the Ty and the gang has whipped up for them.

Here's the breakdown of the house:

The Tractor Room-Ed designed this room using a real tractor! Son Joseph's bed fits just snug in the shovel of the tractor. Best part: Carlton has easy access to tuck his son in.

The Carousel Room-Paul had it right when he constructed this room for daughter Jessica, as she loves her room full of horses.

The Kitchen-With this makeover, the kitchen is no longer Susan's domain alone as Carlton can now access everything in the kitchen. So much for avoiding cooking and cleaning the dishes!

The Therapy Room-This special room has everything Carlton needs to get back on track with rehab. We see true determination as Carlton takes his first lap on the parallel bars.

This may be one of the biggest transitions we've seen on EM:HE. At the beginning of this episode we saw a man who was frustrated with his life, one who felt limited by his surroundings. After just one week, we see a new Carlton-revitalized and full of life. We couldn't imagine a more deserving hero to receive a visit from Ty, the design team and Trace. Welcome home Marshall Family. Welcome home.
