Kodak's lawyer's interrupted him in the ER, as he was about to perform surgery on a head trauma patient. She informed him that the jury was back with a verdict in his case involving former patient, Curtis Ames. Kovac ignored his attorney and continued with his work. Weaver walked in and told Kovac that it wasn't a choice, he had to be there to represent the hospital whatever the verdict may be.

Kovac arrived to the courtroom and found Curtis talking to his daughter. She was asking him if they were going to win their case. Curtis assured her that he didn't come that far for nothing and that they were definitely going to win their case. He was wrong. The jury found in favor of Kovac and Curtis was devastated.

Gates was treating a teenager with a fractured ankle. The man who brought her in told her that he was her aid and she was a student at a special needs school. Later on, Gates went to check on her and she greeted him topless. Gates didn't know how to react, so he shut her curtain. Gates was concerned with how sexually forward she was and wanted to start her on birth control. Weaver thought it was too soon to take that action.

Crenshaw had ordered Neela to make rounds with the staff in the ER. She wanted to scrub into a surgery, but Crenshaw gave her strict orders to stay where she was. When he returned to the ER, Abby informed Crenshaw that Neela could be found scrubbing in up in surgery. He later found Neela in surgery and decided to chastise her while she was working. She later had to inform the family of her patient that he had died on the operating room table.

Weaver was in the middle of talking to an electrician about getting the power back in a surgery room when she walked by Morris having a good time in the supply room. She walked in on Morris getting his eyebrows waxed and preparing himself for his television debut. Weaver immediately put him back to work in the ER. Later, the camera crew were more interested in Weaver's work, then Morris. Weaver ended up stealing his spotlight.

When Neela informed her patient's wife about his death, the woman collapsed. What was thought to have been just a fainting spell, turned out to be a heart attack. The woman's daughter pleaded with the doctors to not stop working on her and Neela refused to give up. With Neela's help, the woman was revived.

Curtis walked into the ER looking to talk to Kovac. Curtis told Kovac he noticed him celebrating his victory in the courtroom, Kovac defended himself, saying he only was celebrating that the case was finally over. Weaver had security escort Curtis away. Kovac followed him out to check on him. Curtis informed Kovac that his life was over, Kovac wanted Curtis to call him if he needed any help.

Neela agreed to help Gates study for his upcoming exam. Neela had a sex dream about Gates earlier, but was fully able to trust herself with him while at work. When she looked at his notes, he confessed to her that he suffered from Dyslexia. Before he could go into details, Katie and Sam invited Neela to a girls' night out, and she accepted.

Pratt was entertaining his date at his apartment, until they were interrupted by a knock at the door. Pratt was not pleased to see his younger brother with all of his bags outside. Pratt had forgotten that he told his brother he could move into the apartment that night. Pratt's date was more then welcoming and even offered to cook up some extra food.

All the ladies of the ER went out drinking and began talking about who they found attractive at work; a lot of the women had surprising answers. Neela privately confided in Abby about her sex dreams about Gates. Abby told Neela that it was perfectly fine to have fantasies about another man and it is about time she moved on in her personal life. The girls got Neela drunk so she would call the "mystery man". Gates female housemate answered the phone and Neela immediately hung up.
