The L.A. restaurant scene is a competitive world where one bad review can make or break a business. When the wife and business partner of a top chef is found murdered in their swanky bistro's kitchen, Brenda and the Priority Homicide Division lean on her hot-head husband as a chief suspect. But when it's discovered that the victim was having an affair with a sleazy investor with a checkered past, the list of potential killers grows. It takes a closer look at the victim's own motives and character to determine the identity of the real killer. Meanwhile, Brenda struggles to conceal an important major milestone and tries not to let her personal life get in the way of solving the case.
