Danny and Baez investigate the death of a young teenage girl who at first appears to have been pushed in front of a subway by a homeless man. However, they soon discover that the man was actually trying to prevent the girl from committing suicide. The detectives find a suicide note on the girl's cellphone that indicates she was a victim of cyber-bullying but are shocked when they discover that the bully was in fact the girl's own older brother. Frank is annoyed about having to meet with the newly appointed Inspector General who will now have oversight of NYPD policy, but he is surprised when he realizes that he knows her. Jamie's partner Eddie makes her first felony arrest of a robber caught stealing a smartphone, but when video evidence surfaces showing that she might have lied to the DA about an important detail in the arrest, Erin has no choice but to bring this matter to Frank and Amanda Peterson, the new Inspector General, who despite Frank's objections, is strongly pushing for Eddie to be fired for the offense.
