The players gather in the living room and Victoria brings up how hard it was to go through her first elimination round and watch Stephanie leave the ranch. Melissa is secretly shocked that people are not game playing in order to win, but because of their friendships.

The players all gather in the gym to hear about this week's big news. Ali tells everybody that the first player who loses two percent body weight first will be granted full immunity. The catch is, the players only get one chance to hit the scale and see if they've lost the two percent. Each player is wearing a card around their neck that tells how much of their body weight is two percent.

Dr. H visits the players to coach them about being safe during their quest to lose weight. He reminds them that they should want to lose the fat, but they can't afford to lose their muscle. Dr. H also warns the players that they need to consume calories this week, in order to lose weight.

Victoria decides to press her luck and be the first one to see if she's lost the two percent she needs in order to gain immunity. All the players gather around to see how Victoria has done and she's bummed to learn she didn't lose the six pounds she needed to.

The players all meet Ali outside at the pool. Ali shows the players 1,000 one-pound weights at the bottom of the pool. The first player to gather 100 pounds worth of weights and bring them to their station will win a trip for two to the Fitness Ridge Resort and Spa. The last player to finish will receive a one-pound disadvantage.

Sunshine wins the trip for two to the resort and celebrates her victory. Meanwhile, everyone else fights to the finish. Once a player finishes collecting their 100 pounds, they can choose to help other players out. Each player makes sure Melissa comes in last.

The next morning, the players wake up to the sound of the weigh-in alarm. Everyone gathers in the gym and they learn that it's Sam who is ready to see if he's lost two percent of his weight. The players are shocked when Sam doesn't lose the six pounds needed; he loses ten pounds! Sam now has immunity this week.

Bob and Jillian are impressed to learn that Sunshine won the pool challenge and Sam has won immunity. Now it's time to hit the gym. Bob pushes Koli to lift 165 pounds while stepping on a stool. Koli takes on the challenge and succeeds.

The best part about Bob and Jillian working with individuals instead of teams is they get to tag team working out with each player. This means giving everyone an extra tough workout. Melissa is staying especially focused because she has the one-pound disadvantage.

Jillian takes a few minutes to talk to Sunshine alone. Jillian points out that Sunshine's relationship with her father isn't helping her advance on the ranch. She tells Sunshine that it's not healthy to be completely even with O'Neal in the competition and if she feels she can physically advance, she needs to.

Taking Jillian's advice, Sunshine finds some quiet time to talk to her father. She tells him that she believes in herself, but she has to move on while they are on the ranch. Sunshine wants to live her life as an independent woman and not just as O'Neal's daughter. He completely understands what she is talking about, but it's hard to let her go.

Koli and Daris are the first two players to weigh in and are shocked to see they didn't pull big numbers. This is very frustrating, since they both saw themselves going to the finals and these kind of weight-loss numbers aren't going to get them there.

Michael loses nine pounds this week and cannot believe his progress on the ranch. He shows off his biceps and asks Ali to feel them. When she approaches, he tells her "not to play with guns" and starts laughing. Jillian jokes that she doesn't know if anybody will be able to handle Michael's attitude if he gets any thinner.

After everybody weighs in, the players find out that Andrea and Melissa have fallen below the yellow line. Back inside the ranch, Andrea asks if she can talk to the players without Melissa in the room. Melissa understands and she tearfully pleads to stay on the ranch.

Back at elimination, the players each have to make a very difficult decision. Melissa is saddened to see the players have decided to vote her off the ranch. She tells everyone that she knows returning home will be a struggle, but she has Lance to motivate her.
