The Blue Team is joined by the Black Team and Daris instantly notices his mother is not with them. The rest of the players console him after he finds out Cheryl has been eliminated. The Black Team lets Daris know how much they are going to miss their teammate, as well.

The next morning, the players find out about the pop challenge and it is trivia. For every correct answer, the team will get a point. If there is a wrong answer, the other team has the chance to answer and steal their point. First team with three points will be picked up in a limo and taken to the Four Seasons for a night. The losing team has to stay at the ranch and clean the kitchen and gym.

The pop challenge is tied up and Michael answers the winning question, giving the Blue Team a full-night stay at the Four Seasons with spa packages. The Black Team is really disappointed and is not looking forward to cleaning up after the Blue Team. Meanwhile, the Blue Team heads to the limo waiting for them.

The Blue Team adjusts very quickly to their Four Seasons spa treatments. Meanwhile, the Black Team is not doing so well cleaning up the gym and kitchen. The Blue Team is not only enjoying spa treatments but also a delicious and healthy four-course meal that has been prepared by the hotel's chefs.

As the Black Team is sulking in the gym for having to work out, Jillian reminds them they came to the ranch to lose weight and get healthy and not to be pampered at the Four Seasons hotel. With that reminder, the players decide to give it their all during their workout. Meanwhile, Bob is getting worried that his team is growing too cocky.

Jillian has a one-on-one with Ashley. Ashley admits she spends a lot of energy focusing on her mother's time on the ranch when she really should be focusing on herself--and this all stems from when Ashley's father died, years ago. With Jillian's encouragement, Ashley confronts her mother and Sherry is happy with the results.

Michael leaves the ranch in the middle of the night after finding out his grandmother's health is growing worse; he wants to be by her side. He credits his grandma with practically raising him and now feels it is time to be there for her.

The players receive news about Michael's temporary departure when they meet up with Ali. But, Ali has a pleasant surprise for everybody: an appearance by Curtis Stone. Ali tells the players they are participating in a cooking challenge where they will be making an appetizer, an entrée and dessert using only 12 ingredients. Curtis will be judging the meals.

Both teams have a 30-minute time limit for their cooking and each have their 12 ingredients picked out. Ali and Curtis survey each team's progress. The Blue and Black Teams could both use the five-pound advantage that the winner will receive.

Each team presents their meals to Ali and Curtis. Curtis is judging each meal based on calorie count and taste. The Black Team wins the appetizer round and the Black Team wins the entrée round. The dessert round goes to the Black Team and they celebrate their five-pound advantage at the weigh-in.

Bob and Jillian prepare their teams for their last-chance workouts. Bob points out that Koli is a machine in the gym because he wants to break that 100-pound mark in this week's weigh-in. Koli is only three pounds from his goal.

Bob keeps reminding his players that they have a five-pound disadvantage at this week's weigh-in. The Black Team witnesses Bob's rage on his team as he encourages them to work harder. Especially Daris, who is representing both his mother and himself now that Cheryl has been eliminated.

The night of the weigh-in, Michael returns to the ranch to give his teammates an update. His grandmother is now breathing on a ventilator and her prognosis does not look good. Michael receives a motherly hug from Sherry while sharing his update. Michael knows in the end, his grandmother wants the best for him, which means being on the ranch.

The weigh-in begins and the Black Team steps on the scale first. They already have a five-pound advantage to celebrate. In the end, they lose 30 pounds with a total weight loss of 2.5%. The Blue Team steps on the scale and the final results have them at 56 pounds lost with a total percentage 3.11.

The Black Team is emotional at the thought of having to eliminate a teammate from the ranch. The players realize they have to set emotions aside when it comes to choosing which teammate to eliminate. In the end, the players decide to eliminate Sherry, who gives a tearful goodbye to her Black Team.
