After the devastating loss of Ruben Studdard during last week's weigh-in, Dolvett needs to inspire his team to succeed. He decides to introduce the Red Team to Beat Cancer Boot Camp, an organization of cancer survivors who have dedicated their lives to health and fitness. The occasion hits David particularly hard because he lost his wife to cancer. The Red Team spends the day with the Beat Cancer team, running through military-inspired exercise routines and obstacle courses. It's a good work out and just the motivation the Red Team needs to move on from the loss of Ruben.

Next, it's time for this week's challenge! The three teams will compete in a tailgate cook-off to determine who can create the tastiest healthy meal. As an added bonus, three loveable guest judges have been called in to act as taste testers: it's Sunny, Lindsay and Biingo, the Biggest Loser kid ambassadors from Season 14! The kids have been keeping up with their healthier lifestyles, and they look and feel fantastic.

With the guest judges in place, the teams get to cooking. They're provided with a wide array of healthy ingredients, but some teams still have a decisive advantage going into the competition. Tanya runs her own restaurant, so she takes the lead for the Red Team.

After the cooking is done, it's time for the teams to present their meals to the kid ambassadors. Of all the judges in this competition, Biingo is easily the most difficult to please. He hates vegetables, so the teams must figure out a way to blend veggies into their meals in order to satisfy his picky palate. In the end, the Blue Team comes out on top, thanks to their creative use of vegetables in their quesadilla recipe.

With Biingo in the house, Jennifer seizes the opportunity for a sit-down chat with Biingo's mother to talk about the challenges of raising children in a healthy manner. Biingo's mom offers some valuable advice for Jennifer, who has kids of her own and hopes to pass on to them her healthy-living knowledge from the ranch.

Jillian takes the White Team out to the pool for a water workout. While this is great for most of the team members, Craig struggles with the workout, due to his fear of swimming. Jillian takes the opportunity to help Craig overcome a major obstacle that could open up a wealth of opportunity for his workout routines. In the end, Craig powers through his fear of swimming. He may not love the pool just yet, but he's made some major headway in conquering his fear.

While the White Team is enjoying their pool party, Bob and Dolvett run their teams through a rigorous workout in the gym and the outdoor training area. It's important for them to ensure that their teams don't plateau during the fifth week of competition. Dolvett is particularly under the gun, since he already used his trainer save. A loss for the Red Team means that they'll lose another contestant.

After a week of workouts and inspiration, it's time for the weigh-ins. Before she begins, Alison makes an important announcement. Last week, Jillian gave her team caffeine pills without permission from the doctors, which is a violation of ranch rules. Jillian stands by her decision, saying that caffeine pills are better than the gallons of coffee the contestants have been consuming lately. Nonetheless, the White Team is penalized four pounds, and the results of last week's weigh-in are nullified, which means that Ruben will return next week!

The Blue Team takes to the scale first and pulls some truly astonishing Week 5 numbers. Bobby drops 19 pounds; Holley drops 19 pounds; Hap sheds 15 pounds; Chelsea loses 13 pounds; and Matt ditches 21 pounds. The Blue Team has immunity this week for winning the cook-off challenge, but these numbers are incredible. The White Team takes to the scales next.

Craig hits the scale first and records a 14-pound loss. Marie drops 12 pounds; Jay sheds 13 pounds, and Tumi loses 13 pounds as well. The White Team pulled great numbers this week, but they'll also be hit with a four-pound disadvantage due to Jillian's rule violation. The Red Team needs to lose more than 45 pounds to avoid elimination.

David hits the scale first with a 13-pound loss. Jennifer ditches 12 pounds; Tanya sheds 15 pounds, and Rachel gets rid of 18 pounds. It's a huge win for Rachel, and a profound victory for the Red Team. Unfortunately, that means that another member of the White Team is headed home. Craig pulled the lowest percentage of weight loss for the White Team, and without Jillian's Trainer Save, there's nothing to be done. Craig is headed home.
