Claiming she has a surprise for the players, Ali introduces them to two U.S. Marines. The Marines tell the players they're headed to Camp Pendleton to train. The Marines don't waste any time, telling the players to hurry up, put on their gear, and get in the tanks.
After a long drive, the players arrive at Camp Pendleton, where they're immediately ushered into a Marine helicopter, which takes them to the place they'll be staying while training. Ali's there to greet them. She feels proud because they're staying at the same place her father served.
After the players get dropped off, they're immediately met by their drill sergeants, who yell at them while they climb to the top of a hill. Both Elizabeth and Anna are met with challenges during the climb. The drill sergeants remind them that nobody is left behind in the U.S. Marines.
The teams meet Sergeant Bell, who introduces them to their respective obstacle courses. Each course has to be completed as a team. The winning team will receive phone calls from home - something each player desperately wants.
After Elizabeth collapses needing medical attention, the Blue Team takes a strong lead and wins the obstacle course. They celebrate by placing calls to their loved ones. Each player is moved to tears while talking to their families.
The teams are surprised when Bob and Jillian show up to train them. Jillian works her players in the Marines' gym, while Bob checks on his team to make sure they're sticking to their diet while at the camp.
The teams weigh in. Bob and Jillian aren't surprised with the results. Jillian points out that the teams had to adjust to a whole new workout routine and diet plan on the base, and as a direct result, they didn't losing as much weight as they ordinarily would have. Even Frado gained four pounds.
The Black Team loses the weigh-in, so one of their players is up for elimination. The players vote to send Anna home. She hugs her teammates and vows to win the at-home prize when she returns for the finale.
