Jack and Sara continue with their secret trysts, and it begins to cause problems for Jack at home. Elaine is worried about their relationship. When she admits that someone she does business with has a crush on her, Jack thinks he has good taste and notes her honesty. "You'd do the same, right?" she says. Umm.... Jack's work life is also getting even more complicated. Unaware that Drew has planted a bug in Karsten's office, business goes on as usual causing some major potential problems as the feds begin to close in. Jack struggles to stay one step ahead of Drew, while he and Thatcher wonder how Drew is getting all of his information.

Meanwhile, the secret relationship causes Sara to blossom with a new sense of self-confidence. Even Alissa notices how much bolder Sara has become. "This new Sara. This whole transformation. It's because of him, isn't it?" she wonders. Sara explains how life has changed since she met Jack. But when Alissa asks if he ever talks about his wife, Sara admits: "It's like we're living in a bubble. There are a lot of things we don't talk about."

Later, during one of their steamy rendezvous, Sara asks Jack to tell her about his family. "Do you ever feel we don't know enough about each other?" she wonders. He tells her about his children, but the air gets thick when he starts talking about Elaine. When Sara asks Jack about Elaine's garden (a detail that Drew mentioned to her in private), things get a little awkward. How could Drew have known that? The next thing we know, Jack tumbles into Karsten's office and locates the bug that Drew had planted. He destroys it and announces: "There we go. Problem solved."

Elsewhere, T.J. convinces Rodney, his new friend, to let him work at the garage – much to Thatcher's detest. Sara visits Elaine, who has no idea who she is, at her restaurant. And Jack tries to teach his son a life lesson about deception after he's made aware of Vic's involvement in that brutal attack from a previous episode.

And as Drew's case of corruption and bribery starts crumbling, he tries to coerce Brandy in a last-ditch attempt to trap Karsten. She demands a clean record, a place in a good school district and a Green Card, no questions asked. "You make me an American," she says, "and I'll do whatever you want." As far as Drew is concerned, she can consider it done.

At the end of the episode, Brandy goes to see Thatcher. Plus, Jack deals with his own personal guilt. And Drew discovers a photo of a naked Sara asleep on her own camera – a photo that Jack took. He immediately confronts his wife. "Nice photos..." is all he says.
