Main Cast

Tensions are high as the remaining contestants begin to go stir-crazy from spending too much time with the volatile Kasey and Vienna. Featuring the most shocking ending since Bachelor Pad began, we find out who stays true to their allies and who stays loyal to the big bucks.

Flirting Your Way to the...Bottom?

The episode kicks off with Blake trying to defend himself against Melissa's attacks. He was flirting with Holly and Melissa is ticked off. She goes off on a tangent about how he played her for a fool and how he needs to "man up". He barely has the opportunity to get a word in before she storms off and leaves Blake completely stunned. He's comforted by the fact that there is at least one other guy in the house who is higher up on the most wanted list.

Synchronized Sinking or Swimming

The remaining contestants are taken out back for a free synchronized swimming show. Yeah, I think we have a pretty good idea of what their challenge will be today. The guys are less than thrilled to be doing such a girly challenge while Vienna is convinced her background in swimming and dance will give her the edge she needs to win the rose. After hours of practice, it's show time. The girls mostly flail around for their routine but the guys make it look easy. The votes are in. Jake and Kirk get honorable mentions from the boys' team, but Michael wins again. From the girls' team, Holly and Vienna get praise but Michelle takes the rose.

Playing the Victim

After the challenge, everyone seems to be having a nice time. Erica and Melissa confide in each other that they think Jake is a really good guy. And, surprisingly, even Vienna has been nice to Jake recently... maybe a little too nice. The good vibe in the house is disturbed when Kasey confronts Vienna about being nice to Jake. She starts to tear up and everyone feels uncomfortable about the public fight. Privately, Kasey tells the camera that Vienna is more obsessed with fame than her ex-fiancé. Awkward.

Nothing to Wine About

Blake, Graham and Kasey all accept Michelle's invitation for a date. They trek to beautiful wine country and pop open some bottles. Michelle pulls Blake aside to tell him that he needs to make amends with Melissa quickly because he's in trouble. His plan of action is to make Melissa think he likes her more than he does. Of course he doesn't tell Michelle this - just the camera. Michelle takes Graham aside and admits she has a little crush on him. She wants to peel back the layers but he has reservations. Opening up doesn't come easy to him. Is he just not that into her? Or is he shy? Michelle takes the plunge and kisses him anyway. Needless to say, Graham gets the rose.

Every Rose Has Its Thorn

Michael takes Vienna, Ella and Holly on his date. Holly is reluctant to accept because she doesn't want him to think that they are back together. But who can resist an opportunity to get out of the house? The foursome mounts horses above Los Angeles for a calming ride. Eventually, Michael continues the date with Holly alone and admits that he misses her. Sadly, she just doesn't think they are right for each other. But something beautiful rides out of the LA smog. It's Bret Michaels! He has come to save the date! He sings them an acoustic version of "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" and it ignites something in Holly's heart. Maybe her relationship with Michael isn't over after all.

Back Rubs and Back Stabs

At the house, Jake tries to rally the boys on the bottom tier. They know trying to bring Vienna and Kasey down is a long shot, but what do they have to lose? To further gain support from the ladies, Jake uses his tongue to team up with Erica. Yuck, get a room!

It's also Vienna and Kasey's six-month anniversary and he has a special gift for her. He whips out a little black box and Vienna is speechless. Well, almost speechless. She blurts out, "I don't want it to be an engagement ring." It's not exactly the reaction Kasey wanted but he assures her it's just a promise ring. He then proceeds to woo her with the gift of song. Happy Anniversary, lovebirds.

Lastly, Melissa is going slightly insane and threatening to leave the competition early. After some convincing from Michelle and Vienna, she takes a breather. It takes Jake's big, strong arms wrapped around her before she can fully recharge.

Rose Ceremony

Chris Harrison walks in to deliver a message. All girls are safe tonight and only one guy will be going home. Basically, it comes down to Kasey and Jake. It's a tough vote but it's time to get selfish. With Michael and Graham safe, there are only four roses to hand out tonight. As predicted, it's down to Jake and Kasey. And in the cliff-hanger of the century, we will have to tune-in next week to find out who gets cast-off! The anticipation is killing us, but we take comfort in knowing that all good things come to those who wait.
