Recovering from Meadow's (Leslie Grossman) shooting, Kai (Evan Peters) wins the election and Ally (Sarah Paulson) is incarcerated for her supposed involvement; however, Beverly (Adina Porter) begins to realise Kai's promises of equality were no longer relevant.
Eventually, Beverly introduces Ivy (Alison Pill) and Winter (Billie Lourd) to Bebe Babbitt (Frances Conroy), the former lover of feminist leader Valerie Solanas (Lena Dunham). It was revealed that Solanas was the first female cult leader, commanding a legion of female occultists codenamed "SCUM" in a quest to overthrow the male oppression by murdering various men and their female counterparts; she signalled the massacre upon attempting to assassinate Andy Warhol.
Unfortunately, the credit for the murders were taken by a man calling himself the Zodiac Killer; going mad with desire, Solanas' followers lost faith in her and abandoned her, leaving her to die alone. In present day, Winter visits Kai, where he becomes aware of her fascination for Solanas and informs her of Harrison making sexist comments; as such, Winter, Ivy and Beverly lure Harrison (Billy Eichner) to the Butchery and savagely murder him. It was revealed that Kai had hired Babbitt in order to test the women's loyalty.
