Tom Hardy revives his rap career with hip-hop supergroup Czarface; new album and single "Brothers Grimm" out now.
- July 10, 2026
AceShowbiz - Before gaining fame as an Oscar-nominated actor, Tom Hardy pursued a career in rap music, and now he is set to revive that ambition through an upcoming collaborative album with the hip-hop supergroup Czarface.
Performing under the rap aliases Frankie Pulitzer and Face Puller, Hardy will join forces with Czarface, a trio consisting of Inspectah Deck, 7L, and Esoteric, for a new album titled Czarface Meets Frankie Pulitzer. The collaboration was initially hinted at by Hardy in a video posted on Czarface’s Instagram account, where he used an American accent to tease the project and promised more information would be revealed soon.
The first single from the album, "Brothers Grimm," was released on June 25, along with the official announcement of the full-length album. The upcoming record will include a total of 15 tracks and feature guest appearances from notable rappers such as Busta Rhymes, Method Man, and El-P. Fans can expect the album to be available on August 28.
This musical venture may seem unexpected, but Hardy has been involved in rap since his teenage years. At just 15, he signed a record deal under the stage name Tommy No. 1 and even recorded an 18-track mixtape titled Falling On Your Arse in 1999, although it was never released. He later reflected on his early rap attempts, recognizing the challenges he faced due to his background and skill level at the time.
In a 2011 interview, Hardy suggested that his return to rap might come through a film or a character role. Now, in 2026, Frankie Pulitzer is making that promise a reality through this collaboration with Czarface. The album is anticipated to bridge his artistic talents in both music and performance, offering listeners a unique blend of his rap style and the established sound of Czarface.
Listeners can preview the lead single "Brothers Grimm" and look forward to the full tracklist upon the album’s release. This project highlights an intriguing new chapter in Tom Hardy’s multifaceted career, marking a significant moment for fans of both his acting and musical endeavors.
