AceShowbiz - The latest single from King & Prince, titled Waltz for Lily, has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart dated April 1.

Waltz for Lily is the theme song for the film Oni no Hanayome, which stars group member Ren Nagase. The single opened with impressive sales of 284,138 copies, securing the top spot in physical sales.

In addition to leading sales, the track also achieved No. 1 for downloads, No. 3 for radio airplay, No. 34 for video views, and No. 58 for streaming. This success marks King & Prince's 16th No. 1 hit on the Japan Hot 100, following their previous chart-topper What We Got ~Kiseki wa Kimi to~.

Meanwhile, M!LK’s song Bakuretsu Aishiteru climbed two spots to No. 2 on the same chart. The single’s weekly sales increased to 133% compared to the previous week, ranking No. 8 for sales and topping the streaming category. It also reached No. 2 for video views and No. 19 for downloads. Cumulative sales for Bakuretsu Aishiteru have now reached 673,475 copies, alongside more than approximately 54 million streams.

Also notable on the chart, BTS’s track SWIM entered the top 10 at No. 3. This lead single from BTS’s new album ARIRANG, their first comeback in about four years, was released on March 20. Its streaming and download figures grew about 1.8 times over the previous week, while radio airplay surged by 4.2 times, pushing the song up from No. 17.

Additionally, SWEET STEADY’s SWEET STEP debuted at No. 7, selling 47,277 copies and ranking No. 2 for sales.

The Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart combines various metrics including physical and digital sales, audio streams, radio airplay, video views, and karaoke data to determine rankings.
