AceShowbiz - Lionsgate has announced that The Housemaid, the psychological thriller starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, will arrive on 4K UHD Combo, Blu-ray, and DVD on March 17, 2026.

The film, directed by Paul Feig, has become a runaway box office success, earning over $350 million worldwide to date. Currently, The Housemaid is topping streaming charts at number one on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.

Based on the bestselling book by Freida McFadden, the thriller follows Millie (Sweeney), who accepts a job as a live-in housemaid for the wealthy Nina (Seyfried) and Andrew Winchester (Brandon Sklenar). What begins as a dream job quickly unravels into a dangerous game of secrets, scandal, and power behind the Winchesters' closed doors.

Critics have praised the film's twisted narrative, with The Hollywood Reporter's David Rooney calling it something that "doesn't get much juicier," while Bloody Disgusting's Meagan Navarro described it as "insanity that begs for more."

The physical media release will include multiple format options, with the 4K Ultra HD (+ Blu-ray + Digital) available for $42.99, Blu-ray (+ Digital) for $39.99, and DVD for $29.96. Amazon will exclusively offer a 4K UHD (+ Blu-ray + Digital) Combo Pack for $34.99.

Special features on the release include audio commentary with director Feig and his creative team, along with behind-the-scenes content. "From Page to Panic: Making The Housemaid" follows the filmmakers' creative process from book to screen, while "Secrets of the Winchester House" offers a tour of the film's iconic location. Additional features include deleted scenes and "A Peek Inside" featurette.

The film represents a collaboration between Sweeney and Seyfried as both stars and executive producers, working alongside McFadden, the original book's author. Feig brings his distinctive directorial style to the adaptation, creating what the studio describes as a wildly entertaining thriller where perfection is an illusion.

With its strong box office performance and current streaming dominance, The Housemaid has established itself as one of the year's most successful thrillers. The March 17 physical media release will allow fans to experience the film's shocking twists with enhanced audio and video quality, along with extensive bonus content exploring the production process.
