AceShowbiz - Dan Nigro has shared an update on Chappell Roan's sophomore album. The record producer, who worked on Chappell's first studio album "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess", revealed a new detail about the upcoming set.

Recently, the 42-year-old musician had a sit-down with The Rolling Stones to discuss various topics. Speaking to the magazine, he shared that he and Chappell have "started" working on her second studio album.

At one point, Dan, whose real name is Daniel Leonard Nigro, received a question about the release date of the set. In response, he spilled, "I think it's too early to tell, we're just getting started on it."

Dan went on to explain, "I think the one thing that we took from making the last record [is that] time is a big factor in making sure that things are right." He continued, "We've written some great songs, and we already have a couple of songs that feel really great, and more songs will come over time."

During the chat, Dan also shared, "The thing that I love about Chappell is that she has so much confidence in what she's doing, and that always shines through in the music." He added, "There's already so many cool moments and so many unexpected moments."

Upon learning of the update, Chappell's fans voiced their excitement for the album. Some of them admitted that they could not wait any longer to listen to her new music, demanding her to release a few songs instead. Taking to Instagram, one in particular wrote, "I know you can't rush art but I'm impatient."

Another asked, "Can they just give us subway and the giver at least," adding a crying face emoji. A third suggested, "Do you need to release and album or can you just make 1 hit song after 1 hit song every months." A fourth begged, "Girl just drop Subway pleaseee."

The update came around one month after Chappell hinted at the sophomore album. In an Instagram post featuring a photo of her debut album, she wrote in late October, "Album kinda popped off imo but it is time to welcome a hot new bombshell into the villa."
