AceShowbiz - Pop duo M2M have delighted fans with a reunion over 20 years after parting ways in 2002. Marit Larsen and Marion Ravn posted an Instagram video on September 22, singing an acoustic version of their song "The Day You Went Away."
The caption of the post included the specific lyric "September 22nd Sunday twenty-five after nine," and the video was published at precisely 9:25 am on that day.
The duo has not yet officially confirmed their reunion plans but has launched an Instagram page and an official website with a sign-up form.
M2M, famed for their single "Mirror Mirror", originally rose to fame in 2000 with the release of their debut album, "Shades of Purple," which featured the hit single "Don't Say You Love Me" from the "Pokemon: The First Movie" soundtrack. The album sold over 1.5 million copies worldwide.
Following the release of their second album, "The Big Room," in 2001, M2M decided to pursue solo careers. Marion released her debut solo album, "Here I Am," in 2005, while Marit released her solo debut, "Under the Surface," in 2006. Both artists have continued to release music and tour as soloists since then.
