AceShowbiz - Janet Jackson has confirmed that she is set to embark on a residency. After her manager Mo Elmasri broke the news about the project, the "Just a Little While" songstress said that she was "so excited" to announce her upcoming shows in Las Vegas.

On Wednesday, August 21, the 58-year-old singer made use of her Instagram page to share the exciting news. In the caption of her new post, she wrote, "We're so excited to announce our new residency at Resorts World Las Vegas launching New Year's week!"

Janet went on to voice her excitement, "This is going to be a lot of fun and I look forward to spending the start of the New Year with you!! We truly can't wait! Sending so much love -J," adding a heart emoji.

Near the end of the caption, Janet spilled details about the residency tickets. She penned, "[Tickets go on sale Wednesday, August 28 at 10 A.M. PT and you can find presale info below (all links in bio)]," adding, "PRESALES Monday, August 26 @ 10 A.M. - Tuesday, August 27 @ 10 P.M. (JanFam) Tuesday, Aug 27 10 A.M. - 10 P.M. (AEG, AXS, RWLV, AMEX, Spotify)."

In the same post, Janet uploaded a series of photos, including a poster, to promote the Las Vegas residency. In them, she looked stunning in a sparkling gold suit and a pair of matching shades. She also rocked a pair of earrings and a necklace. In addition, her long black braided hair was styled in a stylish updo.

The announcement came after Janet's manager Mo broke the news about the residency. Speaking to Daily Mail on August 6, Mo spilled that the songstress "will begin a string of concerts at Resorts World Las Vegas - with the first shows set to debut around the holiday season."

Mo went on to say, "This partnership offers a unique opportunity to celebrate her legacy and deliver unforgettable performances. The energy and excitement of Las Vegas, especially around the holiday season, make it the perfect setting for this new chapter.
