If a new report is to be believed, the Princess of Wales will not make any public appearances until next year to protect her health, both physically and mentally.

AceShowbiz - Kate Middleton will continue staying low-key amid her cancer battle. If a new report is to be believed, the Princess of Wales will not make any public appearances until next year to protect her health, both physically and mentally.

"Lots of people involved in planning need to know what all the principals are doing a long way in advance," a royal source revealed to the Daily Beast on Friday, May 24. "I am told that Kate's diary for this year is empty. There is nothing planned. She may not appear in public for the rest of the year."

A so-called friend of Prince William and Princess Kate also claimed that the royal couple is prioritizing her mental health above all during this time. "The key thing for her now is avoiding any kind of stress or anxiety and just getting on with the business of getting better," the insider shared.

"They will bail out and be off to Sandringham the moment school breaks up," the source continued. Kate, who revealed her cancer diagnosis in March, is said to be planning to spend time with her kids and relatives in Anmer Hall in Norfolk, England.

A new report also claimed that Kate hasn't been seen dropping off her kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, at their schools. However, rumors claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge snuck in a few drop-offs in the mornings.

"There have been rumors she has done drop-off, but I haven't seen her since the video," a parent said. "We all feel very protective of her. Ask anyone at the school - they are amazing parents."

Another source noted that Kate is "continuing her recovery at home," adding, "She continues to need the space and time to prioritize her privacy, as she said in her video." A separate informant, meanwhile, suggested that Kate might give fans a new update on her health in another video message.

"I would not rule out another video message updating the country on her health," the insider said. "That proved to be a very effective way of keeping the conspiracy theorists at bay."

In the March video, Kate shared that she was diagnosed with cancer following an abdominal surgery in January. "We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery," she said at the time.
