The 'On the Floor' hitmaker, who dated the hip-hop mogul in 1999 until 2001, is reportedly 'disgusted' at someone she once trusted turning into a 'very damaged human being.'

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez has remained silent on allegations leveled at her ex Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, but she is apparently aware of recent negative headlines about him. According to a new report, the singer/actress was particularly taken aback by footage of the rapper assaulting his other ex-girlfriend Cassie.

In the wake of the video leak last week, the Bronx native is reportedly "disturbed" and "heartbroken" by the footage. "Among everything else that Jen is dealing with in her life, she is aware and has seen what Diddy did and is tremendously disappointed," a source told Daily Mail.

"Not that people forget, but her relationship with him several years ago had its tumultuous ups and downs," the source noted, before adding, "What he has done and what he has been accused of is heartbreaking."

The source went on dishing, "It is disgusting for her to see that someone, who at one point in her life was someone she put so much trust in, has ended up turning into a very damaged human being. It is disturbing to see."

Despite her strong feelings regarding Diddy's behavior, J.Lo has no plans to publicly address the harrowing recording or any of the accusations leveled against him in recent months. "Jen is not going to address the accusations or take time to talk about them because it is not her story to tell," the source explained. "If she is asked about it in a future interview, she will cross that path as and when it happens, but she won't address it publicly and will not put herself in that conversation on purpose."

Diddy has issued an apology after the footage of him beating up Cassie in a hotel in 2016 surfaced online. "My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I'm disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it, I'm disgusted now," he said in a video, adding, "But I'm committed to being a better man each and every day. I'm not asking for forgiveness. I'm truly sorry."

Many, however, were not convinced by his apology. Cassie's attorney Meredith Firetog reacted to the video, "Combs' most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt."

Jennifer herself has been hit with rumors that she and her husband Ben Affleck are heading for split. She has been making solo appearances at public events for her new film "Atlas", while the actor is busy filming his new movie amid reports that he has moved out of their marital home.
