The 24-year-old YouTube personality, whose mom Lori Loughlin and dad Mossimo Giannulli were involved in the 2020 bribery, makes the remark in her new vlog.

AceShowbiz - Olivia Jade appears to joke about her famous parents' college admission scandal. The 24-year-old YouTube personality made the remark in a vlog that she uploaded on her channel on Tuesday, January 16.

In the said video, Olivia could be seen talking about her plans to renovate her Los Angeles home. "Back in the kitchen. Sorry for the mess that's behind me - the kitchen needs a clean," she said. "I'm so excited, you guys, I finally ordered wallpaper for the kitchen so it's not going to feel so sterile."

She then compared her kitchen to a prison, saying, "It's not going to feel like … a prison." She then took a long pause before adding, "Save the jokes. I don't want to hear it. I set you up and I don't want you to tee off. Okay?"

For those who need a refresher, Olivia's mom Lori Loughlin and father Mossimo Giannulli were involved in a college admissions cheating scandal. They paid half a million dollars in bribes to get Olivia and her sister, Isabella Rose, admitted to University of Southern California by pretending that they were row recruits.

The couple pleaded guilty to the crimes. While Lori was sentenced to serve two months in prison, Mossimo was sentenced to five. The two additionally had to pay a total of $400,000.

Olivia addressed the scandal during her appearance on "Red Table Talk" back in December 2020. "To be honest, I wasn't angry," the "Dancing with the Stars" alum said at the time. "And I think it's because I didn't have a good understanding of what just happened. I didn't see the wrong in it."

"Like 100 percent honesty when it first happened I didn't look at it and say, 'Oh my god, like, how dare we do this.' I was like, 'Why is everybody complaining? I'm confused what we did,' and that's embarrassing to admit. That's embarrassing within itself that I walked around my whole 20 years of life not realizing, 'You have insane privilege. You're like the poster child of white privilege. And you had no idea,' " she added.
