AceShowbiz - Michael Rubin has weighed in on the dating rumor surrounding Kim Kardashian and Tom Brady, who were seen together for the first time at Michael's Fourth of July party. During a new interview, Michael finally addressed the matter.

Speaking with Entertainment Tonight at the Shawn Carter Foundation's 20th anniversary black-tie gala in New York City on Friday, July 14, Michael talked about the "The Kardashians" star and the retired NFL player. The Fanatics CEO said, "Honestly, they're just friends. It's just the crazy rumors that get out there."

Michael went on to say, "Tom was with me a ton of the night and we were having fun, and Tom just doesn't go out that much. It's a rare sighting. And Kim doesn't drink much." He added, "So I think Kim's 10 or 12 shots she had, [and] Tom, you know, being fun, it just leads to rumors. We always want to laugh about it."

Michael's comments arrived after an anonymous tipster sent a photo of Kim and Tom interacting at the bash to gossip blog Deuxmoi. The picture saw the former quarterback and the reality TV star standing next to each other while seemingly having a conversation.

"I've been seeing some posts speculate whether or not Kim and Tom actually spent time together at the party and I wasn't gonna send this initially bc it felt creepy but I do have a photo of them together lol," the tipster wrote in a DM.

Before the snap emerged, there were conflicting reports about the pair at the annual party. A report claimed that the seven-time Super Bowl champion and the mom of four "were super flirty with each other" at the white party.

Another insider, meanwhile, stated that the SKIMS founder "only talked briefly" with the hunk as "he was talking to different women" at the fete. Other sources echoed the sentiment, noting that they did not see the 45-year-old and the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum flirting or dancing together.

Tom and Kim sparked dating rumors in May after the former husband of Gisele Bundchen appeared to have helped Kim during her properties tour. A "well-placed" source, however, noted that there's "currently 'no romance' " between the two stars, noting that she asked Tom for advice as she's looking to buy property at Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Club, an exclusive members-only residential community in the Bahamas.

"Kim and Tom are friendly. She phoned him and asked him for his advice on Baker's Bay," the insider continued. "She's been eyeing property there for quite some time."
