Chrissy Teigen Calls It 'Amazing' After Her Lewd Anti-Trump Diss Makes It to Congress

The 'Cravings' author is at a loss for words but is excited after her 'p***y a**' tweet aimed at Donald Trump is read out loud during the House Oversight Committee hearing.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen may not be running for Congress anytime soon, but she has left an imprint in politics. The model has reacted after her "p***y a**" tweet aimed at Donald Trump was read out loud in Congress.

The cookbook author's lewd anti-Trump tweet was brought up during the House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday, February 8. The Republicans are leading a hearing to investigate Twitter's alleged role in suppressing a 2020 New York Post story about Hunter Biden's laptop.

However, Anika Navaroli, a former senior member of Twitter's U.S. Safety Policy, testified at the hearing that her team had received at least one request in 2019 from the Trump White House to remove a tweet making fun of the then-president. Navaroli then asked if she needed to read it out loud.

After getting the permission, Navaroli told everyone to excuse her language as she's about to read the direct quote. "Chrissy Teigen referred to Donald Trump as a p***y a** b***h," she spoke in the House.

According to Navaroli, someone from the White House "reached out to ask that this tweet be removed" and that her team had to evaluate whether the tweet violated the company's "insults policy." She said they ultimately determined the tweet did not, and it remained up.

After a clip of the hearing went viral, Teigen noticed it and shared her reaction. "I…oh my god," she initially tweeted. When someone pointed out the exact tweet that was referred to in the video, she added, "I am crying. I cannot go on."

She also posted the video on Instagram, writing, "I don't know how to go on after this." Meanwhile, Brooklyn Decker was equally excited to her the tweet being read out loud as she commented, "I want this to be my wake-up alarm. My children's first dance. Our national anthem. The tune I hear on my death bed."

Stepping out with her husband John Legend shortly after her old tweet made headlines, Teigen called it "amazing." She told a videographer, "Thank you for acknowledging."

The couple was laughing when the interviewer asked them if they were going to celebrate it at home. "We have other things to celebrate too, you know," the "All of You" singer responded. Teigen then joked that her tweet being read in Congress is a bigger accomplishment than when Legend won his EGOT. "Absolutely," she remarked.
