The pop star first released the track on May 30 as the lead single of 'La Tormenta', the second extended play featured on her ninth studio album 'Aguilera'.

AceShowbiz - Christina Aguilera has given "Sueltame" ft. TINI a music video treatment. In the visuals, the "Genie in a Bottle" songstress can be seen getting poisoned while having dinner with her family and friends.

The footage opens with a birthday cake-making process. However, someone puts a drop of poison in the batter. The cake is later presented in front of the pop star, who is unaware that people around her want her to die.

Those sitting around Christina are her distant relative, who "rides her coattails," the bodyguard, who "knows her weak spots," and the lawyer, who is "getting greedy" among others. The video ends with Christina getting choked up after taking a bite of the poisonous cake.

Christina dropped "Sueltame" on May 30. It serves as the lead single of "La Tormenta", the second extended play featured on her ninth studio album "Aguilera". She performed the track live for the first time at the 2022 Mallorca Live Festival.

When promoting the EP and its lead single, Christina wrote on Twitter and Instagram, "I want to fly someone special to LA Pride. Pre-save my new EP 'La Tormenta' and new single 'Sueltame', for a chance to join me for the celebration of a lifetime."

Earlier this month, Christina divulged that her Spanish-language music is a way to "share" her culture with her children. The "Ain't No Other Man" hitmaker herself is a mother to 14-year son Max with producer ex Jordan Bratman and 7-year-old daughter Summer with current man Matthew Rutler.

"To now approach the new Spanish music at a time in my life where I've survived this business over decades and am a mother to my children, who I want to share a part of themselves, a part of their roots, a part of their heritage, has been such a beautiful blessing within itself," she told PEOPLE.

"My daughter listens to all of the new Spanish music in the car and requests it," she went on sharing. "Sometimes I have to be like, 'Ugh, I don't want to think about work right now. Let's listen to Encanto.' But it's just been beautiful to see her resonate with the music and know that it's a part of her."
