Chrissy Teigen Is Sorry for Her Behavior Around Beyonce at Oscars After-Party

The supermodel and cookbook author issues a public apology to the former Destiny's Child member for being too nervous at the latter and Jay-Z's private Oscars after-party.

AceShowbiz - Chrissy Teigen was among the guests at Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z's Oscars after-party. One might think that she had the best time of her life during the super private bash, but in actuality, she had one thing that the supermodel regretted so much she felt the need to address it on her Instagram account on Tuesday, February 11.

Along with a video of her showing off her gorgeous white tiered dress ahead of the party, Chrissy issued an apology to the singing diva for her behavior at the event. "Changed for the night!!" she wrote in the caption, before tagging Bey's account. "If there is any, any way you're reading this please just know I stare at you and don't talk because I am truly so nervous to say something stupid but we love you and thank you so much!!!"

People in her comment section could relate to her. "Beyonce makes us all too nervous, don't worry. You're not alone," one assured her, while another recalled her/his own experience, "I met Beyonce at the airport once when she was like 16 in Destiny's Child and also was very nervous. All I could say was 'you're like really good...your music is really good.' "

It should be noted that this isn't the first time Chrissy met Bey. She once met the "Crazy in Love" star at the 2018 Grammy Awards, as she recalled during an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", "There's nobody like seeing Beyonce in person." She added, "It's just so incredible, the aura that comes around her. I mean, she just emits this aura that's spectacular."

Chrissy went on to remember the embarrassing things she did in front of Bey. "On our way out, I was like, 'We have to say something, right?' And I took both her hands and I don't do this for anyone, it was very weird, and [John Legend]'s like 'What the hell are you doing?' " she said. "I took her hands and I got down on my knees and I was like, 'Sorry to bother you, my queen.' Like, who says that? It was like, 'M'lady...' Who am I?"
