AceShowbiz - Actor Richard Grieco is playing down an incident at a Texas airport on Thursday, December 05, after he was taken into custody and booked for public intoxication.
Police officers at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport apprehended the "21 Jump Street" star after he was denied the chance to board a plane bound for Pennsylvania, and he confessed to drinking two cranberry-vodka cocktails.
According to the arrest report, obtained by TMZ, Grieco had prescription Klonopin in his hand luggage. He made it clear he took the pills to counter his flying nerves but the airport cops noted the drug should not be taken with alcohol.
Grieco, who caught another flight to Pennsylvania on Friday morning, tells TMZ the arrest was an unfortunate incident and "not that big of a deal."
