To be seen as the late British royal in the third season of 'The Crown', the 'Ocean's 8' actress recalls the one time she met the princess whom she believed to make a reference to her career.

AceShowbiz - Late British royal Princess Margaret once terrified Helena Bonham Carter, the actress who will be portraying her on the third season of "The Crown", with a caustic compliment.

The "Les Miserables" star has picked up the role from Vanessa Kirby and admits she once met Margaret, who turned out to be "pretty scary".

"At one point, she met me at Windsor Castle and she said, 'You are getting better, aren't you?'" Helena tells Entertainment Weekly, convinced the princess was referring to the actress' career.

Bonham Carter will play Margaret in the third and fourth seasons of "The Crown" as the show covers 1964 to 1978. Ben Daniels replaces Matthew Goode as the feisty royal's husband, Antony Armstrong-Jones.

Olivia Colman will lead the cast - as Queen Elizabeth II - and she admits picking up from where Claire Foy left off in seasons one and two has been a daunting task.

"Everyone loves Claire Foy, so I have got the worst job in the world at the moment," she tells the magazine. "It's the same as any classical play you do - everyone will have already played that part before. The first week, I did feel myself trying to do Claire impressions: 'What would she have done?'"
