AceShowbiz - "Twilight" director Catherine Hardwicke is returning to fantasy-adventure films after signing on to adapt comic book "Heathen" for the big screen.
The film will center upon a fierce, feminist Viking warrior who declares war on the god Odin for his injustices towards women.
Natasha Alterici launched her "Heathen" comics in 2017 following a successful Kickstarter investor campaign, and Kerry Willamson has adapted the books for the film.
Hardwicke now has the job of casting her lead, Aydis, for the project.
