The musical based on Queen's hit songs, which debuted in 2002, is revived by Annerin Theatricals for a North American run starting in early September.

AceShowbiz - The success of Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" has landed the bandmates a big payday in North America - the musical based around their hits is coming back to the U.S.

"We Will Rock You" will return to North American arenas later this year thanks to Annerin Theatricals visionaries, who have revived the show.

The musical, written by British comedian Ben Elton, debuted in 2002.

The new run of shows will kick off with a six-night residency in Winnipeg, Canada in early September.

Annerin Theatricals' Jeff Parry says, "This is a show I have wanted to produce since I first saw it in London... I thought that Queen's musical was for everyone and not just the typical Broadway crowd, therefore we're producing it in a way that can accommodate most buildings and audiences that want to experience the music of Queen in a uniquely theatrical manner."
