Hot on the heels of her TV debut success with 'Homecoming', the 'Erin Brockovich' actress is reported to be in talks to star in the small screen adaptation of Jo Piazza's novel.

AceShowbiz - Julia Roberts is lining up a new TV project for Amazon following the success of her drama series "Homecoming".
The "Pretty Woman" superstar made her debut as a TV series regular in the psychological thriller last year (18), and although the show will be returning for a second season, her character, counsellor Heidi Bergman, will not.
However, the popularity of the Golden Globe-nominated Homecoming has since prompted Julia to circle another Amazon production - she is in talks to feature in an adaptation of author Jo Piazza's novel, "Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win".
If she signs on for the limited series, Roberts will also serve as executive producer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The book, which was only released last summer (18), centres on a top tech executive who decides to move her family back to her native Pennsylvania to launch a campaign for a seat in the U.S. Senate. It will be adapted by "Brothers & Sisters" creator Jon Robin Baitz.
Roberts has also been attached to another TV project, a series titled "Today Will Be Different", based on author Maria Semple's book of the same name. The project was picked up for development by bosses at top U.S. cable network HBO in 2017.
